The tourist center is located in the Umm Al Quwain lagoon where the natural green islands provide shelter for several square miles of clean and unpolluted water without the hazard of rough open sea, which is most ideal for water sport and small boat activities.

As the name indicates, Falaj Al-Mualla is the Oasis Town which lies in Al Batha Valley and is rich in agriculture. The town is connected with Umm Al Quwain city by an exceptionally scenic road running for much of its length alongside Wadi Al Batha.

Located along the coast near Umm Al Quwain is the famous archaeological site with the remains of a once important town of the region dating a little over 2000 years ago. Several interesting objects including impressive tombs, stone houses, large storage jars, and glassware from Egypt and Syria have been unearthed with successive excavations.

Across the creek from Umm Al Quwain city lies this island, a haven for birds. The bird sanctuary is also noted for its mangrove swamps, representing an extremely delicate and a fast-dwindling ecosystem.

The fort has a well displayed jewellery collection, in-depth weapons collection and material from the emirates Ad-Dur archaeological site. Most interesting of all, however, is the extraordinary story pinned to a wall of one of the towers relationg to the story of the murder of Ruler Ahmed Bin Ibrahim Al Mualla, by his cousin-servant in 1929 and how the people in a rage burnt the murdurer alive inside the tower. Located on the shores of the creek provides facilities for wind surfing, water skiing and sailing. The Emirate has also the finest horse riding club linked to a marina, where Equestrian events are held each winter.

Finally, as is the case with other Emirates, camels are treasured and camel racing is held in Al Labsa, one of the UAE's most attractive race tracks, located on the road to the Falaj Al Mualla, near the banks of the valley. The Emirate is also famous for hawks and falcons.

The Emirates Car & Motorcycle Racing club was founded in 1999 by H.H. Sheikh Marwan bin Rashid Al Mualla, a motor racing enthusiast and champion race driver. Expertly managed by board of directors, Emirates Race Club's objectives are derived and implemented under the ordinance of the Supreme Organizing Committee.

Proudly, Emirates Car & Motorcycle Racing club is the only motor racing club in UAE to be recognized by FIA and FIM with regular international participants from Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India. Presenting a multitude of facilities for members and non-members, Emirates Car & Motorcycle Racing club is managed by highly trained professionals who have retained the traditional hospitality for which UAE is renowned.

"Emirates Car & Motorcycle Racing Club aims to provide the infrastructure and expertise to lionize our youth's sporting abilities in our endeavor to serve our homeland with excellence, and bring glory to UAE in the international arena of motor sport racing."

In the effort to provide world class leisure, recreation and sporting amenities, Emirates Car & Motorcycle Racing club's scheduled to develop a grand club house featuring full serviced gymnasium with sauna and Jacuzzi, Olympic sized swimming pool, and a specialized multimedia library on motor sports racing.

The proposed club house will also have a selection of international restaurants and banqueting facilities. There are also immediate plans to construct a state-of-the-art motor engineering workshop stocked with a range of latest motor accessories.

Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub is the newest addition to the Aviation Fields in the United Arab Emirates. The Aeroclub is the brainchild of HH Brigadier Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Mualla, and was commissioned only two years ago.

The Aeroclub includes a runway with length of 1800 meters and 30 meters wide, taxiway, marking and lighting which have been completed under the supervision of General Civil Aviation Authority of the United Arab Emirates. The surface of the runway has a Load Classification Number that accepts a medium sized passenger jetliner, a moderate weight capacity.

A "CTAF," Common Traffic Advisory Frequency is operative at Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub and is listed in the relevant international documents used by aviators.
The Runway and Taxiway are equipped with lights and therefore available for night time operations as too.

"SKY DIVING" is its primary Activity and there is a team of dedicated Instructors who are available to handle any prospective student. The training courses are completed nearly always on time, this is mainly because of the excellent weather conditions that prevail throughout the year and because of the availability of a "SPECIAL MODIFIED" aircraft for this purpose, this facility is also open to members as well.

Sky Divers from the GCC and European Countries make the bulk of the overseas skydivers beside the large number if the UAE Nationals and Licensee's.

Umm AL Quwain Aeroclub also has a club house, with comfortable lounges and catering facilities and the staff are highly motivated to look after the visitors.
In the Skydiving, the Diver cannot ask for anything more than jumping from an altitude of 12,000 feet over Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub. Medical & First Aid personal are always at hand.

The other attraction of the Aeroclub is PILOT TRAINING, the Flying Training School of the Aeroclub is an approved facility and is functional to handle anyone who aspires to get his "PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE" (PPL). The course is conducted by the Chief Flying Instructor on behalf of the Management and final tests are conducted by the Inspectorate of the General Civil Aviation Authority ( GCAA) of the UAE.

The UAE PPL is an internationally accepted pilot license.
Pilot License Renewal and Pilot Proficiency Check flights are undertaken.

HELICOPTER FLYING. The Aeroclub owns a Robinson 44 helicopters and is the latest acquisition of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid AL Mualla. Pilot plus three passengers are permitted to ride the helicopter.

RENTAL is available now at Umm Al Quwain Aeroclub. The hangars at Umm AL Quwain are within secured perimeter fences could take more than a few fixed wing aircraft and since any Aircraft owner will always expect aircraft to be hangared at all times, a prospect will not have to go so far to find the space! Aircrafts can be rented out for a day, a week a month or any length of time for a very nominal charge.

You used to be able to everything from Uzis to AK-47s here, but after the licenses for this were withdrawn by the federal ministry in 2003 across the UAE, you are now limited to single and double barreled shotguns. The cost of 25 cartridges is only Dhs 65 and the shooting ranges are available on Saturdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 2 pm to 9 pm.

As a friendly gesture, sight seeing is permitted free of charge.
