DIFC receives delegation from the UAE Youth Ambassadors Program
(18 July 2017)

His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), welcomed a delegation from the UAE Youth Ambassadors Program.

In the presence Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, the delegation was presented with an introduction to the Centre and its key initiatives, reflecting DIFC’s commitment to professional development for the UAE’s youth.

The UAE Youth Ambassador Program began in 2012 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed forces. The programme aims to drive the nation's youth to new avenues of leadership, enhancing their understanding of bilateral and strategic relations between the UAE and partnering countries. It also helps to prepare participants to take positions in key Government sectors by enhancing their leadership skills and the students' experience outside the UAE.

His Excellency Essa Kazim, Governor of DIFC, said, “We were delighted to welcome the UAE Youth Ambassadors Program to DIFC. The Centre is committed to helping the leaders of tomorrow reach their full potential and we are eager to collaborate with regional and international organisations to achieve this goal.”
