Under the directives of Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Civil Defence has promoted 321 officers and other employees. 

Director General of Dubai Civil Defence Maj. Gen. Expert Rashid Thani Al Matrooshi expressed his appreciation and gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed on behalf of Dubai Civil Defence staff for the continuous support and encouragement he has extended to the organisation’s employees. He added that the promotion recognises the efficiency and performance of Dubai Civil Defence staff. He said the promotion also provides them with an incentive to continue working hard to achieve the government’s strategic objectives as well as Dubai Civil Defence’s goals, in particular, the provision of the highest standards of safety to citizens and residents of Dubai.
