Passengers at Dubai International (DXB) were all smiles on Monday after they were treated to a special welcome with cupcakes, chocolates and flowers as Dubai Airports, along with partner organisations, celebrated the International Day of Happiness.

The celebrations were in line with the national happiness and positivity programme launched by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and led by the Ministry of State for Happiness and the Dubai Smart Government.

Officials from a number of government departments as well as Dubai Airports came together to support the initiative and help achieve Dubai’s goal to add happiness and positivity in government policies and services, and instill values of happiness and positivity as a lifestyle in the UAE and beyond.
