Vice President and Prime Minster of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has inspected the pre-ride preparations for the most expensive race among endurance races, the HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Endurance Cup – CEI***, 160Km. 

Accompanying Sheikh Mohammed during the inspection visit to the Dubai International Endurance City in Seih Al Salam, were Dubai Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Finance Minister Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum and wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Princess Haya bint Al Hussein.

Sheikh Mohammed was keen to inspect the readiness of the riders before stepping up to the start line this Saturday. He also attended the pre-ride veterinary inspection of the horses. The race will see 273 riders representing 40 countries from around the globe; a higher turnout of riders compared to 178 riders last year in 2015.
