Dubai SME, the agency of the Department of Economic Development (DED) has launched a campaign to raise awareness on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations and adopted by the Dubai SME 2021 Plan.

Running from 18-22 December 2016, the campaign will bring to focus the social and economic impact of entrepreneurship development, while also showcasing outstanding corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives among Dubai SME members that are well-aligned with the Sustainability Development Goals.

The Sustainable Development Goals, officially known as ‘Transforming our world; the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development’ are an intergovernmental set of aspirational goals supported by 193 countries. The 17 goals comprise 169 targets covering a broad range of sustainable development issues.
