Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum today inaugurated the new headquarters of State Security Dubai in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Deputy Ruler of Dubai HH Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; and HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. 

Sheikh Mohammed unveiled a plaque to open the new headquarters, and expressed his gratitude to the department and its employees for their role in keeping the society safe. 

His Highness toured the new headquarters where the Head of State Security Dubai briefed him on the various departments of the organisation and its operations. He also briefed His Highness about the major accomplishments of the organisation as well its future plans that are aligned with Dubai 2021 Plan’s objective of making Dubai one of the safest cities in the world. 

His Highness was accompanied by Deputy Chairman of Police & Public Security in Dubai HE Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim. He was received at the new headquarters by the Head of State Security Dubai, his Deputy and a number of senior officers.
