Dubai Central Laboratory, DCL, in Dubai Municipality has recently launched the 'Zayed Oasis Incubator for Innovation and Artificial Intelligence' in line with the Innovation Month of the Year of Zayed.

Khalid Sharif Al Awadhi, Assistant Director-General of Dubai Municipality for Environment, Health and Safety Control Sector, highlighted the importance of establishing a culture of innovation within the sector's practices, and building talent and supporting it to develop its creative and innovative ideas. "The DCL represents an ideal environment for embracing innovation and artificial intelligence, through its specialised services and its abundant expertise, devices and equipment," he said.

Al Awadhi also expressed his belief that innovation today is not an option but an urgent necessity. "It is not a general culture but a working style and the governments and companies that do not renew themselves and do not innovate and do not compete, confine to themselves to retreat and finish," he said.
