The Eid al-Adha holiday for ministries, and federal departments begins on Sunday, August 19th, and lasts until August 23rd, with official work resuming on Sunday, August 26th, 2018, according to the directives of the UAE Cabinet.

On the occasion, the cabinet extended its congratulations to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, along with Their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, as well as the people of the UAE and Arab and Islamic countries.
