The Dubai Vision Competition will award the winning schools of its 2018 edition entitled "UAE schools in joint action for sustainability" on 24th April 2019 with a special ceremony to be held the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding in Al Fahidi neighborhood.

The cultural competition represented a perfect preparation and celebration for the UAE Year of tolerance 2019 because it focused on the partnership between students of different nationalities with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds. During the Competition, that completely differs from all the school contests run so far in the United Arab Emirates, public and private schools have been working together to deliver a joint project representing their shared vision of sustainability in particular in the areas of solar energy, energy and water conservation and green mobility.

The Dubai Vision Competition is an initiative of the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding and in the year 2018 has been implemented in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Education for the engagement of the public schools to the project. As every year, the competition counted on Architaly Green Energy DMCC as the main sponsor and provider of technical support to schools also through its schools' initiatives: Dubai Schools solar Programme, Green Team Programme and Solar Mobility Programme.
