In line with our efforts to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to ensure the health and safety of bank’s customers; the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) directed banks to replenish ATMs with new banknotes of all denominations and to ensure its availability during the salaries payment cycle for this month.

The CBUAE has also advised banks to immediately implement additional preventive measures in relation to the usage of the ATM as follows:

1. All ATMs must be sanitised on a regular basis.
2. Preventive sanitisation tools (disposable latex gloves) must be provided to all customers while using the ATM’s at all times.
