Dubai Parks and Resorts : 18 Dec 2017 - 31 Dec 2018
At Motiongate, kids can hang out with some of their favourite cartoon characters, including the Smurfs, Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, and the cast from Madagascar. Jump aboard Lego-themed rides and build Lego robotics at Legoland, and make a splash while enjoying the Lego fun at Legoland Water Park, where kids of all ages can enjoy the aquatic amusements. Exotic film characters and set come alive at Bollywood Parks, where full-blown Bollywood musicals take over the imagination.

Dubai Safari : 1 Jan - 31 Aug 2018
Dubai Safari is one of the UAE’s newest tourist attractions, which opened its gates in December 2017. Visitors to the park will be able to see more than 2000 animals, with more than 250 species from all over the world, spread out over 119 hectares of land. Some of the animals at the park include hyenas, flamingos, chimpanzees, and rhinos - and there are even more set to arrive over the next few months.

’Under, 2018’ Exhibition by Hale Tenger : 19 Mar - 31 May 2018
A brand new art installation will be on show at Alserkal Avenue from 19 March, and is being launched at Dubai Art Week. The installation, by Turkish artist Hale Tenger, has been curated by Mari Spirito and commissioned by Alserkal Programming - the 18th commission in three years.

’Star Liner’ by Zak Ove : 19 Mar - 1 Jun 2018
Ove’s works often deal with the notion of belonging, especially in a multicultural world. He’s known for his large installations, which have been on show at the British Museum and Yorkshire Sculptural Park. ’Star Liner’ was inspired by the futuristic and psychedelic music of George Clinton, as well as the Black Star Line, a shipping line that transported goods and African Americans throughout Africa. The exhibition includes a mix of paintings, sculptures, and a new series of African masks made from brightly-painted car parts.

Art & Jewellery at Custot Gallery : 19 Mar - 2 Jun 2018
In 2018, Alserkal Avenue’s Custot Gallery will be exhibiting Art & Jewellery, the first artist’s jewellery exhibition to be shown in Dubai and the wider region. It aims to explore the connection between the miniature and monumental works of art created by some of the most important artists of the last two centuries, pairing exquisite pieces of jewellery with a collection of paintings and sculptures. Some of the artists whose work will be on display will include Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, Pablo Picasso, and Sophia Vari.

’Space and Place’ by Jene Highstein : 19 Mar - 30 Jun 2018
’Space and Place’, by the American artist Jene Highstein, is the latest exhibition to go on show at Alserkal Avenue’s Jean-Paul Najar Foundation. The exhibition includes a mix of sculptures and drawings by the late artist.
