Parking System in Dubai

The Driver of the vehicle will be responsible for:
Pay and park during 8:00 - 13:00 & 16:00 - 21:00 hrs.
All fines or penalties related to non payment for parking tickets
Service charges in the event of a penalty fine.

Charges
AED. 2 per hour within C.B.D area (charges will be displayed in parking meters)
AED. 1 per hour outside C.B.D. area.

Penalty for non payment of parking ticket is Aed. 200 and additional Aed.50 for administration charges.

Parking meters are placed in all parking spaces, tickets can be bought on the spot or prepaid cards available with Patriot-Petrol stations.

Does one have to be physically present in Dubai to buy a property here?

It is possible for the prospective buyer to give Power of Attorney to a person to handle all the aspects of the purchase on their behalf. It is not necessary that one have to be present in Dubai to conclude the deal. But it is advisable that they check all the documentation and ensure that everything is clear before signing the deal.

How can I renew Dubai driving license online?

1. Do an eye test - You need to carry 2 passport photos and proof of identity. Costs 25 dhs.
2. Visit the RTA website - register first if you haven’t done so already.
3. Navigate to ’Driving License’ section and proceed.
4. Login to your RTA account. There you can fill in the form and pay your renewal fees (110 dhs).
5. A new driving license should be posted to you within a week or so.
