The Madinat Theatre at the Madinat Souq has launched an online ticketing site at www.madinattheatre.com.The list of the forthcoming events is as follows: ’Encore’ (28-31 October, 2006)will be presenting songs from numerous musicals old and new in a production put together exclusively for Madinat Theatre. The evening is about the quality of the voices of five leading performers, in the prime of their theatrical lives. . Ima Castro starred as Kim – ’Miss Saigon’ and Gold Record Album – Mamahalin Kita-Ima "A Miracle from Manila" Earl Carpenter starred as Phantom – ’Phantom of the Opera’, The Beast – ’Beauty and the Beast’, Joe Gillis – ’Sunset Boulevard’, Gaston - ’Beauty and the Beast’ and Daryll van Horne – ’Witches of Eastwick’. Joanna Riding starred as Eliza Doolittle - ’My Fair Lady’ (Winner of an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical 2003), Sarah Brown - ’Guys and Dolls’, Julie Jordan - ’Carousel’ and Jane Smart - ’Witches of Eastwick’ Anita Louise Combe starred as Velma Kelly – ’Chicago’, Betty Schaeffer – ’Sunset Boulevard’, Stephanie – ’Saturday Night Fever’, Jemima – ’Cats’ and Cosette – ’Les Miserables’.
