New Dubai Airport
Construction of the first of six runways at Dubai World Central International Airport is over 70 percent complete and will be finished in October. The airport, scheduled to be the world’s largest passenger and freight airport, will commence operations in mid-2008.The airport is at the core of the 140 sq km Dubai World Central urban aviation community being built in Jebel Ali, 40 km from Dubai’s city centre.
