Dolphin Bay at Atlantis

The 4.5 hectare Dolphin Bay is an innovative education centre that enables unforgettable encounters with the bottle-nosed dolphins. Here, under the strict supervision of Marine Mammal Specialists, guests are invited to meet and learn more about our Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins in an unparalleled encounter programme. Enjoy an up close and personal meeting with one of our dolphins. Touching, hugging, holding ‘hands’, playing ball and feeding are some of the activities guests can experience during the interaction which is open to all ages. The entire programme takes approximately 90 minutes. Limited to just 10 guests per pod (as a group of dolphins is known) this intimate interaction begins with an orientation and includes 30 minutes in the water. Once the interaction is complete, guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary non-alcoholic beverage and make their way to the education centre. If a guest wishes to watch dolphins at play from the Dolphin Bay beach, they can relax on a chaise lounge, take photographs and enjoy complimentary soft drinks. A visit to the education centre is also included. Guests participating in a shallow water interaction, or visiting Dolphin Bay with an Observer Pass, also enjoy complimentary access to Aquaventure, The Lost Chambers and our private beach on the same day. Passes to this private beach are reserved for family and friends of those participating in a dolphin interaction, giving you a front row seat to the fun of Dolphin Bay.
