The Dubai Women Establishment is inspired by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which is reflected in the Establishment’s objective of actively reinforcing women in their role in the UAE’s socio-economic growth DWE will help women through the participation in the policy suggesting rules and regulations that will support the progress of women and their participation in the work force. The Establishment also aims to help women maintain a balance between their professional and social responsibilities. The establishment’s strategy will focus on participating in the creation of rules and regulations concerning women and their affairs; helping women maintain a balance between their professional and family lives; nurturing future women leaders; provide employment opportunities and continuous training for women; and enhancing the image of Emirati women globally. Through endorsing appropriate policies and providing life-long opportunities for training and work, women can maintain a balance between their professional and family lives. The objective of Dubai women establishment is • To play a constructive role in policy-making for the role of women in the workforce. • To enhance women’s skills and competencies necessary for UAE’s needs and strategic priorities . • To represent and promote image of UAE women leaders on a local, regional and global scale . • To become the knowledge and intelligence center on the status and needs of UAE women . • To become the regional leader in introducing unique and innovative initiatives advancing women’s contribution in the workforce.
