Freej Folklore - A Theatrical Spectacle

The myths and legends that surround the Arabian world are brought forward in this largest Arabian theatrical of all times. Produced by Nakheel under the patronage of Dubai Culture and Arts authority it brings forward the traditions of the Arab land in the form of music, dance, animation and live stage performance. These beautiful exquisite performances are sure to leave the viewer spell bound and also more knowledgeable about the Arabic culture. The show will be staged at Madinat Jumeirah Arena for nine days from 8th Jan – 17th Jan. It’s a one of its kind in the entertainment history and never before a show with this great technology been presented in the Middle East. It’s a unique mix of live, virtual, animation, film, light and acrobatic performances across a 40 meter stage with multilayer screen projections allowing for various optical illusions which immerse you in the story. As the story of four elderly UAE women unfolds and with it the wisdom of the elderly to solve the day-to-day problems of everyday life, it leaves a dramatic influence on the viewer’s minds.
