The Comedy Convention
The comedy convention is an entertainment brand created by Chillout Comedy (a part of the Chillout productions group) with the aim of aiding the growth of the live comedy industry in the middle east by producing festivals, live tours and special events. The first two festivals are being held in Dubai and Beirut from April 22nd - 26th 2009. Under the patronage of Dubai Culture and in partnership with MBC Group, Khaleej Times, Sound Track, Rotana Dubai, Dubai 92 FM, Jacobsons Direct and Time Out Dubai, The Comedy Convention is much talked about in Dubai these days. The Comedy Convention Dubai is from April 22nd - 24th 2009 and held at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. On 22nd Rob Magnotti, Kirk Fox and Omid Djalili the British-Iranian actor/comedian will be entertaining the crowds with their comical humour. On 23rd Rob Magnotti, Whitney Cummings, Gerry Dee and Tom Papa are the entertainers and on 24th Rustey Dooley, Erik Griffin, Sebastian Maniscalco & Tommy Davidson will set the laughter among the crowds.
