flydubai
flydubai is the low cost airlines based out of Dubai, currently operating flights between Dubai, Lebanon, Jordon, Syria and Egypt. New locations are in pipeline and will soon be launched. Launched in April 2009, flydubai has already started operating flights to Beirut, Amman, Damascus, Alexandria and Aleppo. More destinations are under the covers and very soon this low budget airline surely will roar the skies. What makes this airline special? Let’s see: 1) It is low-cost airline. You just pay your basic cost of ticket + taxes. 2) You only pay for extras that you choose - you are not carrying a bag, don’t pay flydubai to handle that. 3) They have a lower operating cost - they do not issue tickets, directly the boarding passes. 4) You can pick your seat in the aircraft - seats are prized from AED 5 - AED 50. It’s ok with you to sit anywhere? Don’t choose any seat, flyDubai will find you your seat! The flydubai fleet flydubai has ordered 54 Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft from Boeing. The single-aisle aircraft, with 189 economy class seats, has a flying range of four and a half hours. The airline has also ordered CFM56-7B engines from CFM International and blended winglets from Aviation Partners Boeing (APB). This combination of engines and winglets means flydubal will be operating aircraft that are as kind to the environment as possible. With the winglets, flydubai’s 737s will consume less fuel and emit less noise. Put together with the reductions in emissions offered by the engines, flydubai’s 737s will be among the most environmentally-friendly aircraft flying today.
