Dubai Astronomy Group is a group of amateur astronomers who have come together to promote astronomy in the UAE Mission: 1.Promote astronomy in the UAE 2.Discovering and promoting the astronomical heritage and archiving it for next generations. 3.Making solid base of astronomy by education and knowledge promotion on all levels. 4.Participating locally and internationally in astronomical activities. 5.Adapting and Encouraging new talents in astronomy Their list of services includes: Astronomy Training Courses Lectures Event Organizing Education Shop Consultancy Graphics & Advertising Scientific Research Astronomy Tours Anyone can join the group and they are open to new ideas and innovations. They also have facilities for library, telescopes etc. Membership is open to anyone having an interest in astronomy or related subjects (Standard Membership is totaly free). Membership includes benefits, such as internet access to our library of astronomy, lectures, Stargazing, and use of equipment including telescopes, cameras, and other equipment.
