22 February 2010. UAE stocks saw little movement in prices and low volume trading again today. On the Nasdaq Dubai at 1430 UAE time, DP WOrld is up 0.76%, and Depa is unchanged. Dubai Financial Market The Dubai stock index barely moved, closing down by just 0.12% at 1622 points from turnover of AED 120m. Emaar Properties (EMAAR) was the most active stock, falling 1.0% to 3.01 from AED 28m worth of trading. HITS Telecom was the worst of the more active losers, down 3.5% to 1.64, Ajman Islamic Bank (AJMANBANK) fell 2.4%, and the other losers were down less than 2% or on thin trading. Several stocks closed unchanged including AIRARBIA, Dubai Investment Company (DIC), National General Cooling (TABREED), Deyaar Development (DEYAAR), and Union Properties (UPP). The best of the more active gainers was Arab International Logistics (ARMX), up 2.3% to 1.76, Gulf Navigation (GULFNAV) rose 1.7%, and the other gainers were up less than 1% or on low volumes. Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange The ADX closed almost unchanged from yesterday at 2753 points, down 0.05% with turnover of AED 83m for the day. Aldar Properties (ALDAR) was the most active stock, up 1.3% to 3.86 from AED 38m worth of shares, Sorouh Real Estate (SOROUH) was the only other stock trading more than AED 10m worth, down 1.8% to 2.20. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) was the best of the more active gainers, up 1.45% to 2.76, Ras Al Khaimah Cement (RAKCC) was up 0.91%, and the other four gainers rose on low volumes. There were several stocks unchanged including Dana Gas (DANA), First Gulf Bank (FGB), Union National Bank (UNB), and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB). The worst of the more active losers was Waha Capital (OILC), down 2.15% to 0.91, Agthia Group (AGTHIA) fell 1.1%, and the other losers were down less than 1% or on low volumes. Emirates Telecom (ETISALAT) saw no trading, and National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) fell 0.43% to 11.40.
