Taking care of the public convenience DTC has lady taxi drivers serving for the people in UAE. The role of women drivers is very significant and can be equated to any other role that they play in the society. The United Arab Emirates may only have a population of three million, but it is becoming a pace-setter for economic and social development in the region. The family service became really popular during the Dubai Shopping Festival with the increase in women visitors, especially from the GCC countries that resulted in an increase in the operations from the airport. The DTC also provided free service to participants in the Dubai International Holy Quran Award by co-operating with local organisations, particularly those which enrich the society culturally and socially.
