Dubai Dance Festival

The Dubai Dance Community will soon rule the dance floors as the first-ever Dubai Dance Festival -Dubai 2008. The Dubai dance Community will take place on 12th & 13th June 2008. The 2-day cultural extravaganza will bring Dubai’s best talents together for a weekend of fun, dance and music.This weekend of dance, music and culture is expected to draw more than 2000 people from around the UAE & around the Middle East who will attend to watch a breathtaking musical dance show, T.H.E. AGENCY (or better known as Top Hat Entertainment Agency). This musical show is based around an Entertainment Agency and will capture the escapades of T.H.E. AGENCY, the mishaps, the dramas, thrills and the buzz of the company, whilst also displaying the various acts and talents it has on its books, including Hip Hop, Salsa, Tango, Tap, Contemporary, African and more. Participants and performers are expected from all major dance schools and classes from around Dubai and Middle East.The Dubai Dance Festival, is organized by Ahmed Salsa and directed by World Famous Mr Eric Lalta & Ms Hilda Haghighi. We expect an audience of over 550 top notch VIPs and dance lovers will be spellbound by the rhythms and dance moves of all types.The event is already generating tremendous interest and excitement among the dance community.Amongst the big names who will be performing on the night are the BNF dance team - James & Alex( UK/Belgium) , Piso Caliente Artisctic Group, The Apartment Dance Team, RIDDIM (The Talent Station), Nadia & Frazier,Dubai Drums, Roger’s Dance Team, Kelly,Marcela & Javier ( Colombia), Tango Dubai, Cesar & Elizabeth (Colombia ), Savage Garden Dancers (Colombia), Familia de la Salsa (Dubai) and more.With ’The Agency musical show’ being the focal point of the event and the dance festival, there will be non-stop activity surrounding this gala weekend. There will a full day workshop (13th June 2008) for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels in Salsa, Bachata, Hip Hop, Tango, African and much more. This will give dance aficionados a chance to learn from the best talents in town. And then, the party moves on to another exciting level. There will be dancing every night till 3am! "The parties are the pulse of the festival that makes this event unique in its kind. The public will not only follow what is happening on the stage but will also get the chance to participate in it. The fun starts immediately after the show programme as dancers gather on the floor with performers, instructors and all participants in the Festival.
