Postgraduate Institute of Management
PIM, established in 1986 by Ordinance under the Universities Act 1978, is one of the seven postgraduate institutes in the university system of Sri Lanka. PIM has a postgraduate population of 480 student in the various Masters degree programs at present. Since 1986, the PIM has produced over 3,000 MBA graduates and over 1000 Postgraduate Diplomas. The Institute is governed by a Board of Management which is responsible to the Senate and the Council of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka. The University of Sri Jayewardenepura was established by an Act of Parliament in 1958, and it was then known as Vidyodaya University of Ceylon. Under the Sri Lanka Universities Act of 1978, it was re-named “University of Sri Jayewardenepura.” Today, its full-time student population is over 6,300 and enrolled in the faculties of Arts, Management Studies and Commerce, Applied Sciences, Medical Sciences, and Graduate Studies.Email: admin@piminternational.ae
