Best In Dubai Awards 2009!

What is Best in Dubai? The Best in Dubai is your chance to celebrate everything you love about living in Dubai. Your favourite places to eat, rest and play. The places, in other words, where you would go for a perfect weekend in Dubai. Winners of these prestigious awards are determined, not by a panel of judges, but by public vote. This is the chance for those who know best - the residents of Dubai - to name the most outstanding venues in this city. How does all this work: Until now there has never been a chance for Dubai’s residents to have their say on their favourite Dubai venues. We have some of the world’s best hotels, malls and restaurants but there is no way to judge the most popular. Where do you like to go in Dubai and what you like to do? It is the best way to reward the establishments and organizations that make living in this city so enjoyable. Who decides the winners? Nobody knows Dubai better than its residents. Young or old. National or expat. Male or female. Everybody has an opinion on what they like best. Simply go to the category listing and make your voice heard. Think carefully and select the most deserving winner in each category. The online counting system ensures that votes cannot be duplicated and that individual users can only vote once. ITP plays no part in deciding the votes; the winners are up to you! Best of all, we have thousands of dirhams’ worth of prizes to give away. These can be yours, just for making your opinion heard. It won’t cost you anything at all. What happens after I vote? The first round of voting will generate a shortlist. You can vote for anything at this stage. Once the shortlist is announced, the second round of voting begins afresh. It is then a race to the finish line, with the most popular entry in each category winning a Best in Dubai award. Vote for your Best in Dubai choices up until May 12, 2009. Check the shortlist on May 13, 2009. This will include the most popular items in each category. Voting closes on May 24, 2009.
