5 Things To Do In Dubai That Are Not Going To Cost A Fortune

Dubai is a top destination for those seeking a luxurious and extravagant holiday. With stunning skylines, beautiful beaches and sunshine all year long, it’s hardly surprising that so many people are drawn to the city. Dubai is the fourth most visited city in the world, after London, Paris and Bangkok but for many people, a holiday in Dubai might seem out of budget range, especially if they often turn to fast payday loans in an emergency. Although saving for flights and accommodation is essential, there are plenty of things to do that won’t cost the earth once you get out there. Here are our top five picks:

Dubai Desert Safari
One of the most popular activities to do in Dubai is heading out in a 4x4 to explore the desert. A desert safari tour is the perfect way to see the stunning UAE sunsets and explore an environment like no other. There are plenty of different options for desert safaris, including overnight stay options, but there are also ways to fit “dune bashing” in on a budget. A guided day trip, with dinner beneath the stars and traditional Arabic entertainment included, can cost as little as £29 per person.

Relax at Safa Park
It might surprise you to learn that a desert country like Dubai has some stunning parks and green spaces. One of those is Safa Park, which is a 64-hectare park close to the traditional centre of the city. You can relax and cool down in the beautiful gardens for free, it’s a great way to spend an afternoon without spending a penny.

Visit Jumeriah Beach
The incredible Jumeriah Beach is one of Dubai’s most popular costal spots. With soft white sand and clear blue sea in front of you and towering skyscrapers behind, you’ll definitely feel as if you’re in the height of luxury even though you can relax on the beach for free. There are places to BBQ or you can simply lay back and relax until the sun goes down. Visitors do need to be careful and make sure they are acting respectfully on the beaches though – Dubai is an Arabic country so beachwear has to be worn on the beach only, or you could get in trouble!

All You Can Eat Restaurants
Many visitors are concerned about the cost of eating and drinking out while they’re in Dubai. It’s true that it can be expensive, only licenced clubs and hotel bars serve alcohol in Dubai which means that the cost of a beer can be as much as $9.50! However, all is not lost. If you are keen to eat out in the city, head to one of the all you can eat restaurants. You’ll find a range of restaurants offering cuisines from around the world. The Rangoli Thali restaurant is one of the most popular options but there are plenty to choose from!

See The Burj Khalifa
Of course, nothing quite beats the views from the 144th floor of the Burj Khalifa. However, if you don’t fancy paying the 200 AED to get to the top, it’s still pretty impressive to see the building from below. After all, it is the world’s tallest building. The surrounding marina area is equally stunning and free to explore, so don’t miss an evening exploring when the skyscrapers are all lit up.

Bedouin camps in the desert
The tour organizers make all the necessary arrangements, so that the visitors can remain at ease. You can experience the traditional gypsy lifestyle at these camps. Besides, you would love the photo sessions in traditional Arabian costumes, an experience you would love to cherish for a long time after the trip is over. Then you can treat yourself with the hot beverages like black coffee, Arabic Qahwa and tea, along with soft drinks. However, you may have to pay some extra bucks for shisha and alcohol. The toothsome buffet meal awaits you after the adventure activities, and you can choose from both vegetarian and non-vegetarian variants.
As the dusk descends in, you can relax on the comfortable Arabic carpets and watch the mesmerizing desert. Spice up your senses with some amazing live shows in the desert, including the Arabic Halla Dance, fire show, Tanura dance and puppet play for kids. Belly dancing remains another attraction of the evening desert safari Dubai. With countless sparkling stars lighting up the night sky, you have plenty of experiences to absorb.
