Three New UAE Ambassadors sworn-in before Mohammed bin Rashid

Present at the swearing-in ceremony, held at Al Mushrif Palace today, were Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior His Highness Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court His Highness Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. 

Those who took the oath of office were UAE Ambassadors-designate Ali Abdullah Al-Ahmad, to the Federal Republic of Germany, Ahmed Mohamed Yousuf Al Tunaiji, to the Republic of Belarus and Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, to the United Mexican States. 

The new ambassadors pledged their loyalty to the UAE and its President, respect for its constitution and laws and to place the country's interests over any other considerations while performing their diplomatic tasks with a high sense of honesty, integrity and confidentiality. 

Sheikh Mohammed wished the three ambassadors success in their new assignments to serve the interests of the country and its people. He also stressed that the UAE leadership and government is keen on drawing on the capabilities of its loyal sons and daughters, which stems from a firm belief in Allah Almighty, our national bond and sense of community, our belief in coexistence, peace, and equality among all peoples, which has always been a consistent policy of the UAE since its inception. Sheikh Mohammed went on to encourage the new ambassadors to believe in their abilities and to use them to consolidate the relations of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and the countries concerned. 

The ceremony was also attended by Minister of Culture and Knowledge evelopment Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Director-General of Dubai Ruler's Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohammed Mir Abdullah Al Raisi and Director-General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman.
