The Porsche Club, UAE was founded in April 1998 to cater to the particular needs and interests of the owners of Porsches in the Emirates. Our general objectives are to provide the highest standards of courtesy and safety on the roads; to enjoy and share the good will and fellowship engendered by owning a Porsche; to maintain the highest standards of operation and performance of the marque; to establish mutually beneficial relationships with the Porsche factory, dealers and other service sources; and to exchange ideas with other Porsche Clubs throughout the world. And new members can join for an annual fee of US $72.50 you can: Attend events that are organized by a group of enthusiastic Porsche Club committee members. Be part of a community that enjoys and shares the good will and fellowship engendered by owning a Porsche. Karim Al-Azhari is the prseident and founding member of this group. Now celebrating 10 Years of Porsche Club, UAE gives this Founding Member motivation to offer old and new members some exciting events for the 2008-09 season. Look for the great drives and family days out around the emirates and the educational Porsche Driving Experience Days at the Dubai Autodrome and later in 2009 at the YAS Circuit in Abu-Dhabi. When not busy with the Porsche Club, UAE. Karim can be found racing wherever they will let him. In the UAE he will be again driving the #1 Porsche GT2 for Al Nabooda Racing at the Yellow Hat National Touring Car Championship.
